Chicken story

Dru was outside with the kids the evening we got our new chickens while I was inside making dinner.  Fin suddenly burst through the door and hollered, "Mom, do we have any chicken stories?"  Before I could answer, he ran into his room, grabbed something, and was headed back out again.  "Fin, wait!  What did you get?"  "A book!  The chickens want to hear a bedtime story, Mommy!"  A minute later, Clara ran in, grabbed a book from her room, said, "I need to read the chickens a story, too, Mommy!" and ran back out again.  They love our new chickens!
