Fin misunderstood me twice today with quite funny results...
Fin (running in from finding an egg in the chicken pen): Mommy! I found another egg!
Me: Great job! Did you find it in the roost or on the ground?
Fin: Mom, we don't have any roosters, only chickens. Silly mom!
Later that day.....
Fin (coming in after helping Dru set gopher traps): Hi, Mom! What's for dinner?
Me: Spanish chicken.
Fin: Smashed chicken? Oh, just like we smashed that gopher out there!
